Being semi retired I have time to enjoy being engulfed into the game and plan on playing 8-12 hours a day. Until the shock wears off or computer fried due to excessive gaming or whenever life starts knocking at the door I will still try to put in as many hours as possible.

you are right

about as many hours as i feel like

that realisticly means from zero to 4-5 hours spaced out over the day

average probably not more than 1-3 per day

After the initial rush to get characters built and so forth, probably around 20 hours a week average, maybe more or maybe less, depends on how much PvP my guild is doing.

Initially about 4-6 hours a day till the novelty wears off, then about 1-2 hours a day 6 days a week if at all possible.

Probably 1-2 a day and around 4 a day on weekends. After I get my first character through the game and I get all the skills needed for my first PvP it will slow down a bit. After I can focus just on PvP it will probably 1 a day and around 2 a day on weekends.

Realistically, I could see playing 1-4 hours a nite after working to unwind, just depends how tired I will be.

I'll have to say that I've over done it in almost every BWE and have had a bad habit in the past of playing games like EQ way too much which really effected RL. My plan after full release is to try and keep it to about 2 hours a day on weekdays and 4 - 8 hours total on weekends.

I do believe if I take my time to savor it I'll enjoy the game a lot more than if I let myself get too obsessed and in a rush to take it all in like I have done with games in the past.

I'll be just about like Loviatar, about 1-3 hrs a day, maybe a bit less on average, especially after the full release. I'll not get much sleep during the game times leading up to that, though. "....aaAnnd Loving it!"

Oh, I will DEFINENTLY be playing a lot during th release day if possible... I WANT to hold the Hall of Heroes as long as I can while there aren't too many people

The frist while I'll be playing as much as possible. After 2 weeks I'll still be playing lots since I plan to have 3 chars go through the storyline (covering all 6 professions) and I want to collect all the skills. Mixed in in large doses will be PvP whenever I feel like it. For the first month I'll play whenever I have free time, after that it might slow down, but I don't really know yet how addicting GW is.

I have no need to savour the flavor. Hehe. Lots of stuff for me to do and it will take longer than 2 weeks. And probably longer than 6 months to do. Going to have to unlock everything I possibly can for my PvP characters, test out a myriad of builds, do all the quests, and explore every inch of the map. And all of that with hundreds of hours of PvP mixed in. I think I've got enough on my plate to keep me occupied for quite a while. And if I find a game I really like I turn into one of those people who rarely sees the light of day. Hehe. I transform from a normal person to... the shadow!!

seriously whenever i get the chance, im goin to be married soon, have a full time job, and have a baby on the way, but my wife is cool and knows im a nerd so when not working, spending time with her, or taking care of the baby ill be on, prolly 2-4 times a week for a few hours here and there

Being I have never been a regimented to the rules sleeper since birth (2-4 hours a night if i sleep at all) and have little else if anything necessary to do but read and occassionally update a report....At least 10 and likely 20 hours a day till the next expansion, maybe miss a day or two here or there up to a week total in between.
